This patient in her mid 40’s came to see Dr. Pautler to discuss implant removal for health and aesthetic reasons. She had SUBGLANDULAR silicone gel implants placed in 2008 and over the subsequent 10 years developed PTOSIS (sag) of her breast tissue and CAPSULAR CONTRACTURE (high riding implants and firmness). She also felt her breasts were too large and was ready to be implant free. Dr. Pautler did the following: bilateral EN BLOC implant (421 cc’s) and capsule removal (straightforward to do with subglandular implants), fat grafting to each breast with 250 cc’s (harvested from the patient’s flanks), and a bilateral MASTOPEXY (lift). Her results are shown below. Note the better shape, size and overall aesthetic appearance. She is about a D cup, and she is implant free.
