This lady in her mid thirties was extremely self conscious of her oddly shaped breasts and lack of roundness and volume. She is 5 foot 5 inches tall and about 198 lbs. Her breasts had a HIGH and TIGHT INFRAMAMMARY FOLD, somewhat of a TUBEROUS shape, and complete LOWER POLE HYPOPLASIA (lack of breast development on the lower part). To improve her breast shape, a SALINE implant (NATRELLE® style 68 HIGH PROFILE 550 cc filled to 600 cc) was used through the periareolar approach and a DUAL PLANE (part subglandular and part submuscular) was used. A saline implant was selected because of its heavier weight and ability to stretch and fill out the lower part of her breasts. Notice the much rounder and more normal shape of her breasts in her post op photos (below). She is now about a full C or small D cup.
