This lady in her late 50’s presented with high riding subglandular implants (Mentor High Profile 450 cc implants) that were placed about 15 years ago. They appeared ruptured on her routine diagnostic imaging of her breast tissue and she had a Grade IV capsular contracture. She underwent a revisional surgery which included the following: EN BLOC removal of old implants (they were ruptured) and surrounding capsule, site change from subglandular to SUBPECTORAL DUAL PLANE, implant replacement with new 200 cc Mentor moderate plus profile silicone gel implants, and a bilateral mastopexy. She was a DD and now she is a C cup. Her breasts are soft, round, and have a much more manageable size.
