Diet and exercise were ineffective for this woman in her early 60’s (5 foot 4, about 160 pounds) who could not shed the loose skin and bulge. Dr. Pautler did an abdominoplasty on her to both remove the redundant pannus (loose skin) and tighten her loose muscle layer (diastasis repair). Exparel® non-opioid analgesic was used to manage post-op pain, and this patient was up and moving well less than 24 hours after her surgery. Her great result is shown below. She ended up losing about 10 lbs after her procedure.
